Click here to see our qualifications. Our president, Jack L. Speelman, CBO, started CRSI in 1993 by reviewing plans for local building & fire departments in the rural areas of Nevada. Our vice president, Diana Harper-Speelman, has been a marketing & advertising executive for over 14 years and was in real estate for 12 years prior to joining the world of advertising. We consider CRSI as a private code enforcement company. Our primary customers are government agencies such as building and fire departments. We do provide pre-submittal review services to the private sector with the approval of the authority having jurisdiction. CRSI has the resources and expertise to handle all code related problems, however, our primary area of expertise is in fire and life safety. We are also small enough to give our customers individualized services to fit their needs. Whether you are a homeowner need help with a patio cover design or a designer who needs a full code compliance review for a high rise, CRSI has the resources and expertise to do the job. Please understand that the building codes are very complex and leave many requirements are open to interpretation. This is where many years experience plays an important role. I hope you enjoy our site and please let us know what you think. We try to provide our customers with some basic code information online, however, we must limit the free online information since we are a private consulting firm and do not receive any government assistance or grants. Our homeowners area is the primary location for free assistance, however, we will also answer simple questions for professional designers, contractors, engineers and developers. We also will provide government agencies free assistance.
