Pre-Submittal Plan Review Services

CRSI will review plans and application for completeness and advise the designer of how to arrange the submittal so that the plans examiner does not return plans for additional information or reject plans because information on plans can not be found. Local fire departments will be contacted to assess their limitations and needs for adequate fire suppression and rescue.

CRSI will provide building code, fire code and accessibility code plan reviews for substantial compliance with codes adopted by the entity where plans are to be submitted.  The non structural aspects will be reviewed in detail.  Structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical will be reviewed for "fatal flaws" that would cause plans to be rejected.  Detailed review of structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical is available at additional charge.  All reviews are completely automated and a written project code analysis is included with the plan review report.

CRSI will also contact the local building department on all code requirements that are subject to interpretation and solve any solve any interpretation differences prior to submitting plans.  If there is a disagreement on an interpretation, CRSI will conduct the research and provide information necessary to resolve the difference of interpretation.

CRSI will contact the entity to find out what is needed to expedite the entire plan review process that includes reviews be other agencies. CRSI will also do a comprehensive fire code review for fire sprinklers, fire alarms, hazardous material handling, fire department access, hydrants and all other requirements in the fire code.  CRSI is approved by the Nevada State Fire Marshal to conduct plan reviews for all codes adopted by the state.
